Musical projects such as Barter Boys, CoOwners, and Money Pitts and Associates explore the relationship between art and commerce with absurdist zeal. His Special Collections include a formidable Dick Versace archive and perhaps the world’s largest assembly of vintage Aureus golf shirts. As a partner and co-founder of Clyde Realty, Mr Ness has routinely been one of Detroit’s top producers. But no matter how many hundreds of buildings he sells, he’ll always be known in the streets as Doc Waffles.
